UVaSens is currently developing biomimetic electrochemical sensors in which enzymes or antibodies are immobilized on an electrode using Langmuir-Blodgett or Layer by Layer techniques. These techniques make it possible to introduce biomaterials into a biomimetic environment similar to that of biological membranes, which improves the functionality of the sensors. These biosensors have given excellent results in the detection of antioxidants of interest in food.
